Have you looked into an automated misting logic? They're not all that trying - flush if your not the handiest including tools.

I have a blood python and she wants to be kept reasonably humid also about 60%. Ive establish alot of substrates get on to mouldy. I was advised to taste Orchid bark, it doesnt get on to mouldy and its kind huge chunks of bark which dont get on to blocked to rats when feeding. But it is reasonably dusty so I soak it befor by it, gets rid of most of the dust which was clogging up my snakes nostrils
It is high-priced though.
Sphagnum moss is skilled to protect the dampness levels up too, you can spray it lots and it holds the water, also makes kind bedding.
cypress mulch or orchid bark
Nothing holds dampness better than sphagnum. If you can maintain it alive, so greatly the better. A large water dish wouldn't hurt, any.
