Perhaps you should try a different cleaning agent. Have you smelled the carpet to see if it’s that, or any of other tank accessories? It’s possible it’s one item that is smelling. Here is an article from ReptileChannel.com that has detailed info on cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting a reptile’s cage. You might find it helpful. I wouldn’t increase the number of times you clean out the tank each week. It’s something in there that is causing the odor.

Also, is the tank well ventilated (and yet still secure)? Is it possible that it’s not getting a good air flow so the air is smelling up the tank?

If you clean it once a week, and it still stinks.. there’s probably nothing you can do.

Though I would suggest trying a different cleaning agent, or setting the cage out in the sun to let the sun do it’s work on it. That seems to help, sometimes.

When you clean everything try unsing a 10% bleach solution instead. Just make sure you rinse everything really good. Bleach will kill everything that is making it stinky. For sure
