garter snakes are not skilled pets.
i urge a corn meander or ball python.
you call for for any meander:
half the tank to be heated to 80-85 degrees and half to be in the low 70's.
water bowl
2 places for it 2 bury (lone on the lukewarm feature, and lone on the cool feature
aspen or newspaper for substrate
1 arm to climb on (baked for 30 mins on 400)
1 fake sow
tank clip top
food
garter snakes are natural and must NOT be kept by humans, get on to a corn meander or ball python delight if you want to be lucky and if you want to handle it
lengths:
garter: about 5-6 feet
corn meander: 4-6 feet
ball python: 6-8 feet
Garter snakes are splendid pets!! I have had a garter meander for 4 years currently, and it had been a splendid companion. You have everything you call for apart early for a water bowl. Garter snakes are half-water and will call for a positively large water bowl. As for everywhere you can get on to this stuff, you can stay you community PetCo to get on to the supplies. I have no perception everywhere you could get on to a garter meander. I caught supply in my backyard, but I would check Reptilecity.com.
Garter snakes really aren't that splendid, in fact.
They are apprehensive without usage. And mildly spiteful. Just protect this in mind.
What about 2 thermometers? Persons are elemental. A water dish, of road! And most definatley get on to another bury. Other than that you must be fit!
