Cheers mate that was helpfull, can some one advise me I just got my new 6 month old corn and he seems to be hiding under the water bowl where it’s damp is that cos he’s too hot or is it cos he’s shedding, or is it just cos he’s a cretin snake who liked to be cold at the moment the heat in my tank is at 80
Thanks James
dude DONT put ur bearded dragon on repti bark it can impact them
looks like a indian camp lol
thanks i have an amel corn and a bearded dragon click on cozz fozz to c them
you cant know how hot it gets without one, you need one, it is a neccesity =)
how can i make sure the heat mat does not get too hot 4 my baby corn with out a thermerstat controler
you are fuuny
it’s underneath the tank =]
how did you put the heat mat in that =-)
Im subing because your really funny!!!
papa roach- getting away with murder =]
whats the music at the beginning of the video?
that is how mine is set up, the heat goes through perfectly fine =]
hey, i am getting a corn snake, and i was wondering. if i put the heat mat under the vivarium, would the heat still go through the wood of the tank and the chippings and still be warm enough for the snake?
“piss of you attention seeking twat”. lol that was hilarious.
TY! I subbed for your help =)
Going to look for a corn on sunday!
Ah ok yeah cool that shouldnt be a problem. hope that helps =]
ok thanks yea i meant can i put it under the tank so it is under the tank and on carpet
straight on carpet? erm i wouldnt suggest putting it on top of any carpet type surface you have in the tank. put it under so that the snake is not directly on the heat mat. If you mean can you put heat mat on carpet like in general then i don’t see a problem, i doubt carpet can catch fire from the warmth of a heat mat.
Can a heat mat go straight n carpet?
yea that helped! i meant a UTH being the same as a heat mat lol. my bad. hah thaks alot!
firstly you dont need a heat lamp or a UTH if you’ve got a heat mat. The best way to keep the temperature right is to have the heater under 1/3rd of the tank so that theres a gradient in the tank where one side is hotter than the other. the best way to make sure the hot side doesnt get too hot is to use a thermostat so i suggest purchssing one of them and following the instructions on it =] hope that helps
i have a question for anyone willing to answer::
im getting a baby corn snake in a 10 gallon glass aquarium and a zoomed under tank heater, i was wondering how i keep the temp at 85-90 on the hot side and 70-75 on the cool side without it getting to hot or to cold???
and someone told me that i need a heat lamp (75 watt) and a UTH! please tell me what i need! help
