A leopard gecko or viper geckos are an option. You don’t want anything that gets over 10-12″ as an adult. I used a 30 gallon to house 2 adult leopard geckos in. I’d stay away from anything larger though.

ball pythons could live in a tank that size for most if not all of there lives , unless most of the tank volume was vertical.

You could Try up to 10 green anoles but be sure that that only one is a male (you can tell because males have a red throat fan on there throat) They rarely get larger than 7 inches long they eat crickets they are aboreal they need high humidity and best of all they are fun to watch

Or you could try a jones armadillo lizard but only one because get up to a foot long. They eat large crickets and super worms They are terrestrial an very interesting.they are also tamable and cool looking if you have a water bowl than no spraying is required

If you are looking for more of a challenge then try a pygmy leaf chameleon they are truly delicate but beautiful captive
They eat small crickets and an occasional leaf
They rarely reach more than four inches long
