Sounds skilled, possibly you must just get on to a larger heat pad. at my community pet pile, they sell the exo terra heat waves in small, standard and large pads. i got the standard lone for my 20 gallon long. and it works. possibly you must get on to a large lone as your tank is greatly larger. what i do is i single have 1 digital thermometer and it works for me. what i do is aptly when i wake up, i test in cooperation sides to see that everything is honest and at the aptly temp, then i do the same before to i go to bed.

Hey
Lone of the harms including owning a large tank is that is it hard to heat, as your conundrum states.
just protect in mind thats the heat pad must cover 1/3 of the tank on lone end. i use an exo terra including a dimmer, but i single have a 20 gallon, so it gets too sweltering. But for a 50 gallon, it must be appropriate.
As for the heat lamp, if it is 88-90 by currently, he shouldnt call for it at all. Leos call for belly heat extra than an ambient air temp, as belly heat makes it simpler for them to digest their food. They are not basking reptiles like bearded dragons or snakes. If you were to use a lamp though, to boost the tank temp a morsel, go including a 60-75W RED bulb. Sunglows and colorless illumination could do hurt to your leos eyes, as they are night and do not call for a bright light on them.
At night, curve off the lamp, as a untreated decline in temperatures is untreated and necessary. But protect the heat pad on 24/7... dredge up air warmth doesnt affect them as greatly.
Im not apparent on what you want to do including your 20 gallon, but for my 20 gallon i use a heat pad and a dimmer, and a 50 watt cherry bulb for day calculate to boost the temp a morsel.
If you do get on to 2 females, you force as well just deposit in cooperation in the 50 gallon--you could flush get on to up to 4 or 5 in here
Skilled luck
